Summer activity camps
Vesimix- and Junior Life Saver summer camps are arranged from Monday to Thursday/Friday depending of the camp. Campers may arrive at 8 AM and stay until 4 PM, but organized activity is only arranged between 9AM-3PM. Cetus instructors are present from 8AM to 4PM. A warm lunch and a daily fruit snack are included in the price.
Vesimix camp
Vesimix activity camp offers a unique chance to experience a variety of different watersports like waterpolo, life saving techniques, synchronized swimming and competitive swimming. A variety of outdoor fun and games are a part of the camp days. There is also a visit to Tempputemmellys-liikuntakeskuksessa (indoor activity center) for the Espoonlahti campers OR Seikkailupuisto Huipussa (outdoor climbing facility) for the Leppävaara campers. The particpants will swim 1-2 times daily.
Junior Life Saver camp
Junior Life Saver activity camp introduces the campers to life saving skills, problemsolving, survival skills and teamwork. A variety of outdoor adventure assignments and games are part of the camp days, as well as a visit to Seikkailupuisto Huipussa (outdoor climbing facility). The participants will swim 1-2 times daily.
Starting level requirements
Vesimix camp
Swim camps are intended for elementary school children. Vesimix camps arranged in Leppävaara has a swimming requirement of minimum 25 meters continuous swimming ability (front – and back) in the deep pool, where the swimming is mainly arranged. In Espoonlahti there is weekly a camp arranged for children with no swimming requirements (teaching takes mainly place in the childrens pool) and three groups were there is a swimming requirement of minimum 25 meters continuous swimming ability (front – and back) in the deep pool, where the swimming is mainly arranged.
Junior Life Saver camp
The camp is intended for elementary school children. There is a swimming requirement of minimum 100 meters continuous swimming ability (front – and back) in the deep pool, where the swimming is mainly arranged.
