Swim Class 3
In Swimming School 3, children develop water confidence, swimming skills, and pool etiquette, with many exercises taking place in the main pool together with the swimming instructor. After mastering the Swimming School 3 skills, children can continue to the CetusMix course held in the main pool. Each lesson lasts 40 minutes.
Starting level requirements
The child should be able to swim 15 meters on the front (“mole swim”) and 15 meters on the back (basic backstroke). The child should feel confident swimming in the main pool together with the instructor. Participants should be able to function in a group, follow the swimming instructor’s guidance, and stay focused during instruction. The course is intended for children aged 5–8 years and older. We recommend that the child be at least 100 cm tall.
Objectives
The child will learn to swim independently, without assistance, for 25 meters in the main pool using both the front “mole swim” and basic backstroke. The course also includes various body control exercises, and children will learn main pool etiquette during the course. After completing the course, the child is ready to move on to main pool courses where the instructor teaches from the poolside.
